Assignment description:
Build the user-facing frontend for the Talent Lake and Talent Cards application, a strategic talent discovery tool for HR leadership (CHRO, CxO HR, CoE Talent). The backend, data processing, AI components, and Azure infrastructure are already built and operational. This role focuses entirely on designing and developing a polished, intuitive web interface on top of the existing backend.
Talent Card component: A reusable, card-based profile view displaying key talent attributes (role, experience, skills, talent ratings, development status, movement history). Designed for quick scanning and side-by-side comparison during talent review sessions.
Search and filter interface: An intuitive search experience allowing users to filter the talent pool by multiple dimensions (function, location, grade band, talent status, program participation, skills, etc.). Must feel simple for non-technical users.
Comparison and succession views: Layouts that support placing talent cards next to each other for direct comparison, and pipeline views organized by role showing bench strength and readiness.
Integration with existing backend: Connect the frontend to the existing Python/API backend that serves processed talent data. No data engineering or backend development required.
Responsive, production-ready UI: Clean visual design suitable for executive-level users. Must work well on laptop screens and large displays used in talent review meetings.
Qualification Criteria:
Mid-level frontend developer with experience building dashboard or data-driven applications. Comfortable working with a component library (React, Vue, or similar) and making pragmatic UX decisions without a dedicated designer. Familiarity with connecting to REST APIs. No backend, data engineering, or AI/ML skills required.
Required:
Proficient in modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular)
Experience with component libraries (e.g. Material UI, Ant Design, Shadcn, or similar)
Ability to build clean, responsive layouts from functional requirements without a dedicated UX designer
Comfortable consuming REST APIs and working with JSON data
Has built at least one dashboard, data visualization, or internal tool application
Preferred:
Experience with card-based or profile-based UI patterns
Familiarity with filtering and search interfaces over structured datasets
Basic understanding of data visualization (charts, pipeline views)
