Assignment Description

We are now seeking a System Developer to join our customers team in Lund.

Tasks/Responsibilities:

Customer Focused Problem Solving:

• The Senior System Developer will play a key role in supporting the customers end users by analyzing and resolving issues across both newly developed solutions and existing live systems.

• This includes troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and ensuring stable, high quality ERP operations.

Solution Analysis, Design & Delivery

• Participate in the analysis, design, and support of new system functionality as well as enhancements to current solutions

• Work closely with the Product Owner, Solution Manager, and fellow developers to clarify requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into robust technical solutions

• Contribute to the full development lifecycle: analysis → design → build → deploy → support

Cross Functional Collaboration:

• Collaborate with developers, architects, and solution managers to deliver everything from small improvements to major features within the global sales and manufacturing systems.

• Engage with stakeholders across multiple sites and time zones to ensure solutions align with business processes and operational needs.

Technical Foundation

• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and SQL based ERP environments

• Ability to work within complex ERP ecosystems, particularly in manufacturing contexts.

Requirements

Technical Skills:

Strong development capability in:

• XML

• SQL Databases

• SQL Programming

• Experience with output management and EDI configuration (highly beneficial)

• Familiarity with financial module configurations is a plus.

• Solid expertise in code deployment, debugging, and troubleshooting.

Business & System Environment:

• Experience supporting a global organization with multiple entities, locations, and time zones.

• Ability to work effectively in complex, distributed business environments

Methodologies & Frameworks:

• Preferred experience with:

• DevOps practices

• ITIL methodology

Communication.

• Fluency in written and spoken English.

The ideal candidate is one with hands on experience across the full lifecycle of SQL based ERP systems. This includes:

• Extensive knowledge of end-to-end ERP workflows across manufacturing and financial domains.

• Strong capability in ERP configuration, including functional setup, process alignment, and solution optimization.

• Proven experience in ERP development, particularly within SQL driven environments.

• Solid background in deployment, including release management, environment coordination, and production rollout.

• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, stable ERP solutions.

• Comfort working at the intersection of business process consulting and technical implementation.
