Site Manager

About the Role:

We’re looking for a Site Manager who takes ownership on the ground. This is a hands-on role, with full-time presence onsite in Luleå for the duration of the project.

A Site Manager will be responsible for the daily execution of civil works, coordinating teams, ensuring safety, and keeping the build on track.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate daily site operations and construction crews
  • Oversee civil works execution with a sharp focus on quality, safety, and sequencing
  • Monitor site logistics, ensure material flow, and maintain an orderly work environment
  • Coordinate with adjacent construction projects and align activities with ongoing operations in the port of Luleå
  • Adapt to and manage site challenges related to soil stability and groundwater
  • Implement plans developed in coordination with the Construction Manager and design team
  • Track progress, flag issues early, and contribute to structured reporting

Qualifications:

  • Hands-on knowledge of groundworks, earthworks, and construction in challenging soil and groundwater conditions
  • Experience working in northern Sweden with familiarity in local conditions and site constraints
  • Ability to navigate the operational realities of an active port and multi-project construction theatre
  • Fluency in Swedish and working proficiency in English
  • Relevant vocational or technical education in construction, or equivalent practical experience
