Civil Works Supervisor (BAS-P/BAS-U)

We’re looking for a Civil Works Supervisor (BAS-P/BAS-U), someone who understands the legal responsibility and the practical impact of safe, structured construction.

The Civil Works Supervisor will work closely with the Construction Manager and Site Manager to ensure that all aspects of the build comply with Swedish work environment regulations—on paper and on the ground.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as appointed BAS-P/BAS-U, overseeing work environment coordination during both planning and execution phases
  • Lead and maintain health and safety planning, including work environment plans, risk assessments, and control measures
  • Monitor site conditions and ensure compliance with applicable laws and procedures
  • Adapt routines and response plans to suit challenging soil and groundwater conditions
  • Participate in regular inspections, safety walks, and audits
  • Support incident investigations and ensure documentation is timely, correct, and traceable


Qualifications:

  • Valid certification and experience as BAS-P and BAS-U under Swedish work environment regulations
  • Strong knowledge of civil works and site operations, especially in groundworks with complex soil/groundwater conditions
  • Previous work experience in northern Sweden, with a good understanding of local regulations, climate, and logistics
  • Fluency in Swedish and working proficiency in English
  • Relevant technical education or equivalent practical experience in construction or civil engineering
