The Security Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining a safe, compliant, and efficient on-site environment for production and staff. This position coordinates access control, CCTV monitoring, and security procedures to reduce risk and support operational continuity. The role directly impacts business resilience and the safety of people and assets.
Responsibilities
Coordinate day-to-day security operations at the site with a minimum on-site presence of 50%, ensuring coverage for production needs.
Manage and administer access control systems, visitor onboarding, credential issuance, and verification of right to work in Sweden.
Monitor and operate CCTV systems and the VMS (video management system) for incident detection, evidence gathering, and reporting.
Conduct routine and ad-hoc risk assessments for production areas, facilities, and events; propose and track mitigation actions.
Collaborate closely with production teams to design and implement security measures that support safe operations without hindering workflows.
Support onboarding of new staff with security briefings, access setup, and compliance checks related to working authorization.
Respond to security incidents and coordinate investigations, liaising with internal stakeholders and external responders as needed.
Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and deliver timely communications to leadership and relevant teams.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for security processes, demonstrating a driven and reliable approach to problem solving.

Required and Nice-to-Have Skills & Experience
Required:
Proven experience in access control administration and physical security coordination.
Practical experience operating CCTV and VMS platforms, reviewing footage, and preparing evidence packages.
Experience conducting risk assessments and implementing corrective actions in a facilities or production setting.
Ability to be on-site at least 50% of scheduled hours and to collaborate directly with production teams.
Demonstrated experience in onboarding staff, including security orientation and access provisioning; ability to verify right to work in Sweden.
Reliable, driven, and able to respond to incidents and escalate appropriately.
Nice to have:
Formal training or certification in security management, CCTV operation, or access control systems.
Previous experience supporting large-scale production sites or manufacturing environments.
Familiarity with local Swedish employment and work-permit verification processes.
Experience collaborating with emergency services or internal crisis management teams.
Reporting Line & Organisational Context
The Security Coordinator reports to the Security Manager (or equivalent site operations lead) and is part of the broader Facilities & Security function. The role operates at the intersection of operations, HR, and compliance, providing a bridge between production teams and corporate security governance. This position will influence site-level security posture and contribute to company-wide safety goals.
Team Structure & Collaboration Interfaces
The Security Coordinator works closely with site operations, production supervisors, HR (for onboarding and right-to-work checks), IT (for VMS and access control integrations), and external partners such as security vendors and emergency responders. Regular collaboration with the training team ensures consistent onboarding and security awareness across the workforce.

Timely setup and deactivation of access credentials for new hires and contractors as part of onboarding.
Accurate and actionable incident reports with root-cause analysis and tracked remediation.
Completed risk assessments for production areas and documented mitigation plans.

Consistent verification of right-to-work documentation for staff and contractors in Sweden.

Tools, Technologies & Domain Context
Familiarity with modern access control platforms, CCTV cameras, and VMS solutions is expected.
