Assignment Description:

We are now looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Computer Vision for a consulting assignment at our client. The assignment is located in Linköping and involves working with advanced algorithms for active safety and automated driving in an international and technologically leading environment.

About the role

You will be part of the RA Traffic Information team developing state-of-the-art computer vision and machine learning solutions for active safety features and ADAS. The role combines algorithm development with production-level software development where ideas are translated into robust code.

You work in a cross-functional team close to both research and production and contribute to features used by global automotive customers.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, implement and optimize computer vision and ML algorithms for active safety features

• Develop robust, production-ready software in Python and C/C++

• Collaborate with algorithm, system and verification engineers to take features from concept to production

• Drive technical workflows and contribute to architectural and design decisions

• Act as a technical role model and support less experienced colleagues

• Contribute to the improvement of tools, working methods and development processes

Requirements

• 4–8 years of relevant experience in software development

• Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, software engineering or equivalent

• Very good programming skills in Python and C/C++

• Experience with modern software development methods such as code review, testing and CI

• Ability to work independently and take technical responsibility

Meritorious experience

• Development in Computer Vision and/or Machine Learning

• Especially CNNs, Transformer networks and temporal/sequence-based models

• Experience with PyTorch or similar deep learning frameworks

• Familiar with development tools such as Jira, Git and GitHub

• Experience from the automotive industry or other safety-critical domains

• Previous experience in technical leadership, mentoring or team-driving roles
