Job Summary:

D365 Finance Architect will lead the design and implementation of Dynamics 365 Finance solutions, ensuring alignment with business processes and industry best practices. The role involves working closely with finance teams, IT stakeholders, and external partners to develop scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions within the Dynamics 365 ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture & Design:

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance (D365 Finance) solutions.

• Translate business requirements into functional and technical designs while ensuring alignment with industry best practices.

• Design scalable and secure solutions that support financial operations, reporting, and compliance.

• Define integration strategies between D365 Finance and other enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, Supply Chain, BI tools).

Implementation & Customization:

• Guide configuration, customization, and optimization of D365 Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Budgeting, Fixed Assets, and Financial Reporting.

• Develop proof-of-concepts and lead technical validation of solution designs.

• Work closely with development teams to ensure successful implementation of customizations and extensions.

• Establish best practices for data migration, system performance, and user adoption.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Leadership:

• Work with finance leaders, IT teams, and business stakeholders to define system requirements and priorities.

• Provide strategic recommendations on system improvements, automation, and process optimization.

• Lead discussions on financial reporting, compliance, tax regulations, and auditing requirements in the context of D365 Finance.

• Act as a mentor for functional and technical consultants in the team.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation:

• Stay updated on Microsoft’s roadmap for Dynamics 365 Finance and propose innovative solutions.

• Evaluate emerging technologies (AI, automation, analytics) and their impact on finance processes.

• Optimize finance workflows and reporting by leveraging Power BI, Power Automate, and AI-driven insights.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• 8+ years of experience in ERP implementations.

• Strong knowledge of D365 Finance modules (General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank Management, Tax, Budgeting, etc.).

• Experience designing and implementing financial reporting structures, cost allocations, and intercompany accounting.

• Deep understanding of data migrations, integrations (Azure Logic Apps, Power Platform, Data Entities, APIs), and customizations.

• Experience working with multinational financial operations, including multi-currency, tax, and legal entity setups.

• Ability to map finance business processes and recommend system enhancements.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work in agile environments and lead cross-functional teams.

• Experience in mentoring junior consultants and providing knowledge transfer sessions.

Preferred Certifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate

• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect Expert.
