ServiceNow Junior Application Developer

Assignment description:
We are looking for a proactive ServiceNow Junior Application Developer to join our client's team. You will be responsible for developing new features, supporting the platform, and ensuring smooth updates and cloning processes.
Fluent German and English are required, as you will work directly with German-speaking stakeholders to turn their business needs into technical solutions.
Role Description & Key Accountabilities:
Platform Support & Admin: Work as an application administrator to support users with technical queries. You are responsible for implementing, testing, and maintaining ServiceNow components.
End-to-End Ownership: Support and maintain core modules:
o Change Management: Handle scripting, adding new fields, interface updates, and SLA adjustments.
o Incident & Problem: Resolve standard and complex issues, including Pre-Approved Changes (PAC).
o Major Incidents: Investigating and fixing critical platform issues when they arise.Customer Relationship: Use excellent communication skills to build relationships with users. You should understand their business needs and ensure our technical delivery meets their standards.
Process Improvement: Follow team processes and suggest improvements to routine tasks. Participate in project calls as a technical expert to help guide decisions.
Independent Delivery: Take ownership of your tasks. You should be able to gather data and diagnose complex bugs independently, escalating to the team only when necessary.
Team Collaboration: Work effectively within the group. You will help train other members, share your knowledge, and participate in team problem-solving sessions.
Growth & Certification: Take the initiative to learn about new ServiceNow features and pass the required certification exams to stay current.
Requirements:
Experience: A degree in IT or professional experience in an IT environment.
Technical Knowledge:
o Familiarity with JavaScript, XML, and databases.
o Experience with web-based business applications and technical interfaces.
o Ability to troubleshoot network and application performance issues.
ServiceNow Skills: Solid understanding of the ServiceNow platform, including development and integration modules.
Language Skills: Fluent English and German (written and spoken) are a must.
Personal Skills:
o Strong business awareness and detail-oriented.
o Quick learner with a "team-first" attitude.
o Proactive problem-solver who can work on their own initiative.Nice to have: Knowledge of Software Asset Management (SAM)
