Integration Consultant – Services Team

The role focuses on supporting systems and integrations related primarily to Financial Management & Accounting and Human Resources. Most core systems are COTS or SaaS platforms, and a large part of the work involves connecting these systems through integrations, workflows, and API facades.
Typical responsibilities include:
Designing and implementing integrations between SaaS and on-prem COTS systems
Building API facades in Golang
Implementing API and file-based integrations, including schema and format transformations
Creating and maintaining workflows connecting multiple systems
Supporting the lifecycle of on-prem COTS systems (installation, configuration, upgrades, operations)
Taking responsibility for the full lifecycle of the solutions built by the team (“you build it, you run it”), including development, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement
Defining expected system behaviour and acceptance criteria (BDD / Gherkin)
Working closely with Finance and HR stakeholders to understand processes and integration needs
Technical environment:
Golang
Kubernetes and containers
Azure DevOps with pipelines as code
API integrations (REST, SOAP, OData)
File integrations and data transformation
Workflow orchestration and message-based integrations
Linux environments
Automated testing and continuous delivery
BDD using Gherkin
Diagrams as Code (PlantUML / Mermaid)
We are looking for someone who:
Is comfortable working independently in a small, autonomous team
Has experience with integration architecture and integration patterns
Can translate business processes into technical integration solutions
Is pragmatic and delivery-oriented
Is comfortable working closely with both business and technical stakeholders
Has business knowledge within Finance and/or HR (highly meriting)
The team is primarily Swedish, but we work with colleagues in multiple countries, so meetings and documentation happen in both Swedish and English.
The role is remote-first, with occasional visits to Stockholm, Visby, or Copenhagen.
The start date is as soon as possible
Requirements
Must Have:
Ability to work independently in a small, autonomous team
Strong experience in integration architecture and integration patterns
Experience translating business processes into technical integration solutions
Ownership mindset (“you build it, you run it”) across full lifecycle
Experience using AI in the development process
Business knowledge within Finance and/or HR
Hands-on experience with Golang
Experience in creating and maintaining workflows across systems
Nice to Have:
Experience designing integrations between SaaS and on-prem COTS systems
Experience building API facades in Golang
Experience with API & file-based integrations and transformations
Kubernetes and container platforms
Azure DevOps and pipelines as code
