Assignment description:
We are currently looking for an SAP Service Management Application Specialist.
The organization is on an exciting digital transformation journey. This transformation has strong strategic importance, with a significant focus on delivering a world-class customer experience. As a leading provider of end-to-end solutions for the restaurant industry — ranging from equipment and raw materials to system support — the organization plays a vital role in its sector.
As part of this journey, a new ERP system is being implemented to modernize operations and establish new, business-driven, and efficient processes. These processes sometimes span across different companies within the group. The organization is already live with S/4HANA and EWM at several sites and is now planning the next S/4HANA implementation within the group.
The implementation is part of a broader ERP program, consisting of multiple projects. One of these projects requires reinforcement in the form of an SAP Service Management Application Specialist to support Field Services. The specialist will act as a functional expert, working closely within the project where coordination and task management are handled operationally.
Role Overview
We are looking for a self-driven team player who can move seamlessly between strategic and advisory responsibilities — from configuration and development to troubleshooting defects and incidents. You will lead workshops, act as a solution architect within your domain, and actively share your expertise. A key expectation is that you leave behind strengthened colleagues who have learned and developed through collaboration with you.
The project is delivered in accordance with the SAP Activate framework, with strong emphasis on SAP Clean Core principles, as well as the organization’s defined ways of working and project governance model.
Responsibilities:
The assignment includes, but is not limited to:
Strengthening the project team with specific functional and technical SAP expertise
Ensuring a cohesive, sustainable, and manageable solution within the assigned functional area
Providing clear and relevant input to those implementing the solution
Acting in a requirement-setting and receiving role together with business experts
Conducting relevant analyses and assessments
Supporting data inventory, collection, and limited data transformation
Presenting alternative solutions and their implications within SAP standard and Clean Core
Clarifying solution decisions, including rationale and impact
Supporting requirement definitions and acceptance criteria
Supporting business users in preparation, planning, and execution of testing
Configuring solutions and, if experienced, contributing to development activities
Acting as an ambassador for the ERP program
Contributing to well-documented decision materials
Supporting competence development and innovation within the organization
Ensuring a positive and professional collaboration with all internal and external stakeholders
The consultant is expected to contribute to a positive, collaborative, and solution-oriented work environment.
Requirements
Must have:
Minimum 9-12 years of experience as an application specialist (design, configuration, testing, documentation, workshop facilitation, etc.) within S/4HANA, SAP Service Management, or related areas
Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
Nice to have:
Experience with Service & Asset Management applications
Experience with SAP Activate and Cloud ALM
Relevant industry experience
