Assignment description
We are now seeking for a Senior interim Manager who loves a leadership challenge. The position plays a key role in digitalization journey and in the work to help Sweden achieve its climate goals. The team that this Interim Manager will lead is responsible for the management of business-critical systems and plays an important role in creating efficient processes. The systems cover many different business areas, and the group collaborates closely both internally and externally—with the business and its processes, as well as with suppliers of IT solutions and IT services. The pace of digitalization is high, which means the group is involved in many ongoing projects.
To meet current and future demands for effective system management, as a manager you need to be confident in leading through change, creating clarity and engagement around roles, responsibilities, and ways of working, and providing the group with a stable foundation for sustainable delivery in a complex organizational landscape.
We believe you have:
• Documented leadership experience — from previous managerial roles or other contexts where you have moved a team from one WOW (Way of Working) to a new WOW. And at the same time managed to motivate and develop people.
• Extensive experience leading in complex organizations and are confident in handling different interests in a changing environment.
• Experience in IT system management, preferably in a larger organization with business-critical systems.
• Knowledge of SAP, GIS, measurement, and billing is meritorious, but not required.
As manager of the group, you will:
• Be a key person digitalization journey, where the group enables the realization of the company’s strategy.
• Lead a team of approximately 15 employees who own, operate, and manage the company’s IT systems.
• Motivate and create engagement among your employees, as well as empower them to efficiently achieve common goals.
• Develop and anchor a clear future vision, and identify and address challenges in a constructive and inclusive manner along the way.
• Be responsible for the interface with the business and suppliers for the services delivered by the group.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external parties—your ability to communicate, collaborate, influence, and develop the business is crucial.
• Report to the department manager and be part of the department’s management team.
As a person:
• You have a structured and attentive leadership style where you see and strengthen each individual.
• You are a communicative and confident leader who drives progress and builds trust, even in uncertain situations.
• You are driven by developing both people and working methods and inspire your employees to grow and feel engaged.
• You have a strong customer focus and a genuine interest in the business—and see IT as an enabler for success.
• You understand costs, revenues, and efficiency from an economic perspective.
• You are communicative, both in writing and verbally, and can create clear presentations and reports in Swedish and English.
