We are now looking for a PLM Support Specialist to join our client, a leading technology company within their industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment where you will play a key role in developing and improving business processes through Siemens Teamcenter.
About the Role
As a PLM Support Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, with a focus on aligning technical solutions to business needs. The position combines both technical and analytical responsibilities, giving you the opportunity to make a real impact on how the organization manages product data and lifecycle processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirement Gathering: Understand business needs, document requirements, and translate them into user stories.
- System Implementation: Configure Siemens Teamcenter, support project backlogs, and implement data and workflow structures.
- System Integration: Develop integrations with tools such as MCAD, ECAD, and MS Office while ensuring data consistency.
- Data Management: Migrate structured, validated data into PLM systems and contribute to functional design.
- Testing & Quality: Perform testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure all requirements are met.
- Training & Support: Create user documentation, deliver training sessions, and provide ongoing technical support.
- Continuous Improvement: Evaluate feedback, propose system enhancements, and identify opportunities for added business value.
Your Profile
You are an analytical and solution-oriented professional with solid experience in PLM environments. You take initiative, communicate clearly, and enjoy working collaboratively to drive improvements.
Qualifications:
- 3–7 years of experience in PLM implementation, configuration, or architecture — with Siemens Teamcenter.
- Strong knowledge of Teamcenter architecture and best practices.
- Experience integrating PLM systems with MCAD, ECAD, and MS Office tools.
- Background in Siemens PLM for discrete manufacturing; experience from aerospace or defense is highly meritorious.
- Fluent in English both spoken and written.
- It’s an advantage if you know Swedish or are willing to learn.
- Swedish citizenship is required
