Assignment description:
We are looking for an architect in Malmö who, together with the lead architect, will drive the target architecture for the area and support the teams in developing solution designs.The technology stack ranges from frontend, where they use React, to backend systems where a lot of it is Cobol but where the majority of new development is done in JavaEE. On the Java side, they have runtimes in both z/OS and on distributed Linux platforms.

The focus of this role will be on Java development, where there is a need to both solve challenges here and now and contribute to a longer-term goal. Examples of issues we are working on are how we most efficiently process very large amounts of data in both sending to customers and reading from customers. We are also looking at how we can relieve the load on core systems as corporate customers increasingly need real-time information.

As an architect, you are also expected to help spread your architectural knowledge within the teams, so that we can further strengthen our architectural capabilities going forward.

Competency requirements

• Experience in architecture in complex environments with tightly integrated systems
• Experience in solution design of backend systems in Java
• Experience with both batch and online-based flows
• Ability and willingness to share architectural solutions and principles in an educational manner
• Fluent in Swedish and English
