Job description

As a SAP Application Expert your main tasks will:
• Process mapping and fit/gap analysis in collaboration with business experts and project managers
• Analyze business requirements and design and develop SAP standard solutions
• Where needed, develop custom solutions in collaboration with developers
• Support cross-functional initiatives by understanding requirements and breaking them down in deliverables for your team
• Test planning with test-leads
• Go-live planning with cut-over lead
• Develop training for stakeholders and superusers
• Hand over to Application Management and to superusers
• Roll-out new system solutions


Specific competence (mandatory)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in configuration, testing, and support of SAP GTS and SAP ECC systems.
• Gap analysis expertise, particularly in assessing SAP functionality changes from classical transaction codes to Fiori apps, including:
o Deprecated or removed functionalities
o Modified functionalities
o Newly introduced functionalities
• Experience in at least one of the following areas:
o Customs processes
o Customs warehouse solutions (Transit, Import, Export, Bonded Warehouse)
o Customs support solutions (Classification, Embargo, Intrastat)
• Hands-on experience in SAP GTS migration to SAP GTS E4H.
• Strong communication skills with proficiency in English (written and oral).
• Expertise in SAP integration technologies and patterns, including IDoc, RFC, API, Web Services, etc.
• Project management or delivery lead experience is highly desirable. The candidate should be able to:
o Independently manage and drive smaller initiatives within the SAP GTS E4H migration.
o Mentor and guide team members to successfully deliver assigned tasks.
