About the position
We are looking for a passionate and driven architect to develop next-generation solutions for modem chipsets.
You will be responsible for providing efficient, flexible, and proven architectures for AI acceleration in embedded systems. You will work in an architecture team that encompasses the disciplines of 3GPP modem functionality and related architectures for SoC chipset implementations, where your key competence is AI hardware acceleration. You are expected to stay informed about advancements in AI, machine learning, and data science to continuously innovate and improve solutions.
Qualifications & experience
• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar
• Experience in neural processing unit (NPU), AI accelerator, CPU/GPU architecture, ISA design, machine learning, or dataflow architecture
• Experience in performance, power and area optimizations and proving those optimizations through paper analysis and functional/performance simulations
• Experience in AI software stacks
• Experience and competence in the area of 4G and 5G functionality and implementation is a plus
Required skills/personal characteristics
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Fluent in English.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and lead technical projects.
• Ability to work in multi-functional and cross-site groups.
• Aptitude to learn new things quickly.
• Flexibility to work in different roles as needed.
