We are currently in a recruitment process that is taking longer than expected. Meanwhile we need to establish a current state for the Software Development enablement areas.
We are now looking for a interim business architect during the recruitment , estimated 6 months+ contract but depending on the situation it may be longer.
The candidate should be able to map and set a baseline for the current state of the tool chain. Please note that this position requires a candidate that have worked with multiple processes and dependencies and can have a flow and strategic mindset (not just worked as a business architect/business analyst for one process at a time). Leadership qualities and Change Management experience is preferred. The tool used to document the business processes is Enterprise Architect SPARX. The candidate would preferably have used the systems or be open to learn.
Since this is a “new” organization, the “new” business process consists of new and legacy items, way of working, and fragmented stakeholders for sub-processes and users, there can be parallel or conflicting way-of-working/processes. The candidate must then be able to manage stakeholders, be a change leader and be prepared for challenging discussions and stakeholder management.
Excerpt of example tasks that the candidate may perform:
Map and document the current business layer
- main process end-to-end
- the tools used in the process
- stakeholders performing the process activities
- instructions/methods needed for the activities
- governance structure
Initiate the work with setting up principles and guide rails for working with the business layer.
Beeing a spokes person for the business perspective.
The candidate must be able to come to the office when so is needed. Minimum requirement is 1 day at the office. The assignment would probably require more, estimated 3 days at the office.
- MSc, Bsc, or equivalent work experience
- Experience and knowledge about the tools Enterprise Architect Sparx.
